Truro City Secures Three New Signings Ahead of 2026-27 Season
Truro City has announced three new signings ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 National League South campaign. The Tinners have brought in Jack Nunn, Jack Matthews, and Lewis Colwell on one-year deals with an option to extend by a further 12 months.
Jack Nunn: A Rising Star from Cagliari
Jack Nunn, aged 20, is the most notable addition to Truro City's squad. He recently spent time with Cagliari’s youth team after being spotted while playing for Mangotsfield United in non-league football. This move represents a significant step up for Nunn, who will now have the opportunity to showcase his talents at a higher level.
Jack Matthews: Experience from Plymouth Argyle
Jack Matthews also joins Truro City on a one-year deal after being released by Plymouth Argyle earlier this summer. Matthews made just one FA Cup appearance for the Pilgrims but brings valuable experience and familiarity with the league to the team. His time at Plymouth will undoubtedly provide him with a strong foundation as he transitions to National League South.
Lewis Colwell: Loan Experience from Chippenham Town
Lewis Colwell, another 20-year-old, also joins Truro City after being released by Plymouth Argyle. He has previous loan experience at Chippenham Town, where his performances were noted for their consistency and reliability. Colwell’s addition to the squad is expected to bring a steady presence and depth to the midfield.
