Truro City have announced ambitious plans to expand the area around their stadium into a major mixed-use district. The club's Milestone Project is a partnership with LGV Property Holdings LLP, Cornwall Council, and Treveth Holdings.
The development plans are extensive. They include building a new clubhouse for Truro City and a full-size 3G pitch. Accommodation facilities, a community centre, and spaces for health, retail, food, and commercial use are also on the drawing board. The project aims to enhance the stadium's capacity and transform the site adjacent to Cornwall Council’s Park and Ride, which offers 1,250 parking spaces, into a hub for use beyond matchdays.
This announcement comes as Truro City sit 5th in the National League - South, having taken 13 points from their first six games. With a solid start to the season featuring four wins and a positive goal difference, the club is positioning itself for future growth both on and off the pitch. The development specifically targets the Langarth community and will be supported by the club's charity, the Truro City Community Trust.
Robin Karkeek, the CEO of Truro City Football Club, outlined the vision for the site. "The Milestone Project will create a vibrant, mixed-use district that serves our community every day of the week," he said. The goal is to move beyond a venue used only for football matches and create a destination with broader appeal and utility.
The long-term infrastructure plans are being laid while the first team focuses on its promotion push. Fans can track the team's progress in the standings as they look to close the six-point gap to leaders Maidstone United. The next test at Truro City Stadium is a home fixture against 8th-placed Torquay on Saturday, 26 December 2026, a match listed on the club's fixtures page.
